Oceans Calling Festival Returns to Ocean City for 2025

The sand, the surf, and the sound of live music—Oceans Calling Festival is making its triumphant return to Ocean City, Maryland, for its third annual celebration of music, food, and community! Taking place from September 26-28, 2025, this year's festival is set to be the biggest yet, bringing an electrifying lineup, culinary stars, and unforgettable beachside experiences to the iconic Ocean City Boardwalk.

A Festival That Keeps Making Waves

Since its debut in 2023 (after the initial 2022 event was cancelled due to unsafe weather from Hurricane Ian), Oceans Calling has cemented itself as a must-attend event on the East Coast festival circuit. The inaugural festival brought over 50,000 fans per day to the shores of Ocean City, where legendary acts like Jack Johnson, Alanis Morissette, John Mayer, The Lumineers, and Weezer kicked off what is now a beloved annual tradition.

In 2024, the festival leveled up once again, boasting an impressive mix of rock, indie, reggae, and pop artists, including Blink-182, The Killers, Cage the Elephant, Sublime, and Counting Crows. With a special set by O.A.R. and Friends and performances from nostalgic favorites like Boyz II Men, Barenaked Ladies, and Sugar Ray, the festival continued to deliver a diverse and high-energy experience.

Beyond the music, Oceans Calling has made a name for itself as a champion of sustainability and community engagement, implementing eco-friendly initiatives such as composting, recycling, and water refill stations to minimize its environmental impact.

2025: A Lineup for the Ages

This year, C3 Presents is pulling out all the stops to bring festival-goers an even more spectacular experience. The 2025 lineup features an incredible mix of rock, alternative, reggae, and hip-hop legends, including Green Day, Lenny Kravitz, The Black Crowes, Nelly, O.A.R., Cake, Live, The Fray, Noah Kahan, Vampire Weekend, Good Charlotte, Modest Mouse, Jack’s Mannequin, Collective Soul, En Vogue, Fall Out Boy, Weezer, Train, Devo, Ziggy Marley, Burning Spear, and many more. Plus, local favorites Ballyhoo! and Bumpin Uglies will represent Maryland on the festival’s grand stage. With such an incredible range of artists spanning multiple genres, there’s something for every music lover at Oceans Calling 2025.

More Than Music: A Culinary & Cultural Experience

In addition to its jaw-dropping musical lineup, Oceans Calling is bringing some serious star power to the kitchen. Celebrity chefs Robert Irvine, Michael Voltaggio, Brian Voltaggio, and Anne Burrell will be making appearances throughout the weekend, adding a delicious twist to the festival experience.

The event will once again be hosted by Jason Biggs, bringing his signature humor and energy to the festival grounds.

Bigger, Better, and Smoother: Exciting Festival Enhancements

Exciting improvements have been made to enhance the festival experience this year. Additional entrances along the boardwalk will make it easier for attendees to access the event, while a new matted walking path in the sand between the Sea Bright and Rockville stages (underneath the pier) will improve mobility. Better crowd flow between the Rockville and Carousel stages will ensure a smoother experience, and expanded audio and video screen coverage at all stages will enhance visibility and sound quality. The Sea Bright Stage ADA viewing deck has been redesigned for better sight lines, and a new access path between the boardwalk and Carousel Stage has been introduced. VIP guests can also look forward to exclusive enhancements, including a seated platform at VIP Sea Bright and dedicated VIP viewing areas at all stages.
